(Patria) - The acting prosecutor of the Sarajevo Cantonal Prosecutor's Office has proposed to the Municipal Court in Sarajevo to impose one-month detention on Miftar Ameti for causing general danger.
He is suspected of having fired at least five shots from a pistol at a car containing two people on Bjelašnica two nights ago. After the suspect fired, the injured party, while trying to escape, hit several cars, one of which bounced back and injured a passerby.
Detention has been proposed for him due to the risk of flight, and because the suspect might influence witnesses, conceal evidence, and repeat the criminal offense if released.
