Albanian M.L. (33), who on Wednesday hit a group of tourists in the center of Budva with a Porsche, injuring five Serbian citizens, has surrendered to the Montenegrin police, reports the Patria news agency.
As "Blic" learns, the man is known to the police in the region. Due to the risk of flight, M.L. has been ordered 30 days of detention.
The accident occurred on Wednesday in Budva's main street around 11:30 AM as Serbian citizens were returning from the beach.
An Albanian citizen then drove a white Porsche into a group of about 20 tourists.
