Gathering in front of KS Government over the death of Džena Gadžun

(Patria) - A peaceful gathering is organized for today, 19.11.2021, at 13:00 in front of the Ministry of Health of Sarajevo Canton, i.e., the KS Government, on the occasion of the death of two-and-a-half-year-old Džena Gadžun from Kakanj. This event has been reported to the Second Police Station-Centar, and approval has been issued.

The goals of the peaceful gathering, as announced by the organizer, are:

1. Expressing support for the Gadžun family by the citizens of Sarajevo;
2. Informing the wider public about the case of the death of two-and-a-half-year-old girl Džena Gadžun through the media present at the peaceful gathering;
3. Submitting a LIST OF DEMANDS to the Ministry of Health of Sarajevo Canton;

Instructions for citizens attending the peaceful gathering:

1. Every person is obliged to behave in a civilized and dignified manner;
2. The area of the peaceful gathering is under video surveillance;
3. Police officers, under the instructions of the organizer of the peaceful gathering, will remove, identify, and legally sanction any person who disturbs public order and peace in accordance with the Law on Misdemeanors against Public Order and Peace of Sarajevo Canton;
4. Every person is obliged to wear a protective mask and adhere to epidemiological measures. Persons without protective masks will not be allowed to attend the peaceful gathering;
5. Citizens have the right to use banners. Banners must not contain offensive content. All banners will be checked before the start of the peaceful gathering;
6. The organizer of the protest reserves the right to terminate the peaceful gathering if, in consultation with police officers, elements of disturbance of public order and peace, as well as epidemiological measures, are observed.

We remind you that the girl Džena passed away on November 14th, after undergoing surgery on November 8th at the private polyclinic Bejtović/Rožajac in Sarajevo. Complications arose, and she was taken to KCUS in a coma, where she was kept alive with the help of machines, but the girl's heart could not endure.

The KS Prosecutor's Office is collecting all documentation in this case, and an inspection is being carried out. Video material has been seized from the clinic and will be one of the pieces of evidence.
