Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on the Intelligence and Security Agency of BiH arrives before the Council of Ministers

At the session of the Council of Ministers to be held today, February 14, 2018, the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on the Intelligence and Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, proposed by the Ministry of Security, will be on the agenda.

 Ministers will also discuss the Draft Law on Amendments and Supplements to the Law on Financing Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the Draft Framework Loan Agreement between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Council of Europe Development Bank for financing the regional water supply project „Plava voda“, with the Basis for concluding the said agreement.

 The Draft Basis for conducting negotiations and concluding the Status Agreement between the European Union and Bosnia and Herzegovina on actions carried out by the European Border and Coast Guard Agency in Bosnia and Herzegovina should also be established, and the agenda includes Information on proceedings before the European Court of Human Rights that raise issues of violation of the right to a fair trial under Article 6 of the European Convention. Ministers will also consider several Reports on work for 2017, namely the Report on the work of the Science Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2017, the Report on the work of the Management Board of the Center for Information and Recognition of Documents in the Field of Higher Education for 2017, and the Report on the work of the Police Officers' Appeals Board for 2017.

The Council of Ministers will also establish the Draft Opinion on the Proposal for a Law on Amendments to the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, proposed by Aleksandra Pandurević, a delegate in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the Draft Opinion on the Proposal for a Law on Amendments to the Law on Civil Service in Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, proposed by Salko Sokolović, Senad Šepić, and Sadik Ahmetović, delegates in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
