SARAJEVO, (Patria) - According to NASA's announcements, the Perseverance rover is expected to successfully land tonight in the Jezero crater, named after the municipality of the same name near Mrkonjić Grad.
The European Space Agency also published a photo of the crater.
The broadcast will be available for viewing tonight in Bosnia and Herzegovina as well.
The municipality of Jezero will organize a public viewing of the Perseverance rover's landing on Mars via video link. The municipality announced that the broadcast will be organized under modest conditions, together with the youth of the Jezero municipality, in the sports hall of the "Vuk Karadžić" Elementary School.
We remind you that the connection between the famous NASA and this Municipality began in 2007, when the 45-kilometer-long crater on Mars was named Jezero by the International Astronomical Union, which NASA selected in November 2018 as the mission's target.
