Practical Classes: Dobrinja High School Students Observed Solar Eclipse with Telescope

Students of Dobrinja High School, led by geography professor Vedran Zubić, observed a partial solar eclipse, while the professor explained this phenomenon, writes the BH News Agency Patria.

- An eclipse occurs when the Moon, during its new moon phase, enters a straight line between the Earth and the Sun. There is a total, partial, and annular eclipse. It was total in Northern Europe, and partial for us - said Zubić.

He also stated that the last eclipse was in 1999, and the next one will be in 2027. There will be 144 eclipses in this century, but across the entire planet.

Looking at a solar eclipse is as harmful as looking at the sun normally, so protection is necessary, and the students observed this phenomenon through a telescope, writes Patria.
