The names of candidates for ministers in the Government of Sarajevo Canton were submitted today to the mandate holder for forming the Government of Sarajevo Canton, Elmedin Konaković, and then to the Speaker of the Assembly, Sejo Bukva, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.
Bukva confirmed that the DF candidates for ministers of culture and sports are Samer Rešidat, while Karolina Karačić will be the minister for labor, social policy, displaced persons and refugees.
Emira Tanović-Mikulec will be the minister of health, and Predrag Kurteš the minister of internal affairs. Enver Smajkan will be the minister of justice and administration, and the minister for veterans' affairs will be Muharem Fišo.
The remaining ministries have been filled by SDA officials known from before, so the Ministry of Finance will be led by Jasmin Halebić, the Ministry of Transport by Mujo Fišo, the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth by Elvir Kazazović, the Ministry of Economy by Muharem Šabić, and the newly formed Ministry of Public Utilities by Senad Hasanspahić. The Ministry of Spatial Planning and Environmental Protection will be headed by Čedomir Lukić.
The session of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly at which the new Government of Sarajevo Canton will be confirmed will be held on Monday, March 23, 2015.
