Around 700,000 KM has been collected so far through humanitarian phone numbers opened by three telecom operators in BiH for areas affected by disasters in BiH, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP)
M:tel recorded the largest number of calls, with its humanitarian number being dialed by more than 310,000 citizens. The value of each call is 1 KM, totaling over 310,000 KM, confirmed Aida Halilović, spokesperson for M:tel company, to NAP.
On the other hand, HT Mostar received 60,000 calls, collecting 120,000 KM. The value of each call is 2 KM, as confirmed by the Marketing Department.
BH Telecom's three humanitarian numbers, leased by the associations Pomozi.ba, Merhamet, and the Red Cross of FBiH, collected approximately 160,000 KM. BH Telecom spokesperson Nađa Lutvikadić-Fočo emphasized that Otvorena mreža also had a campaign for flood-affected areas for one day.
- During that campaign, about 105,000 KM was collected. I would like to note that the funds will be transferred after we collect them from the users – said Lutvikadić-Fočo.
