Clinton's Invitation: Ćamil Duraković Travels to New York

Bill Clinton, former US President, invited Ćamil Duraković, Mayor of Srebrenica, to participate in a special plenary discussion at the annual Clinton Global Initiative meeting. One of the largest events in the non-governmental sector in the world, it will be held from September 19 to 21 in New York, the Duraković's cabinet announced, reports Patria agency.

Numerous world political and business leaders participated in previous annual meetings, including US President Barack Obama, Bill Gates, Jack Ma, Hilary Clinton, and many others.

- It was an honor to be with you last year in Srebrenica, and I was deeply moved by your speech... - Bill Clinton writes, among other things, in a personal letter inviting Mayor Duraković to participate in the summit.

The importance of this plenary discussion, in which Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić will also participate alongside Mayor Duraković, is also highlighted by the fact that Bill Clinton will moderate this discussion, announced under the theme "Reconciliation and a Common Society".
