(Patria) - The tourism sector of Sarajevo Canton continues to record positive trends in October 2025. During this period, 75,021 guest arrivals and a total of 161,161 overnight stays were recorded. Foreign guests constituted the majority in both arrivals and overnight stays.
Compared to the same month last year:
– The number of guests increased by 4.3%
– The number of overnight stays increased by 10%
The highest number of arrivals were recorded from:
Turkey, China, Croatia, USA, Germany, Serbia, Great Britain, Slovenia, Austria, and Hungary.
When it comes to overnight stays, tourists from: Turkey, China, USA, Germany, Great Britain, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Saudi Arabia, and Italy dominated.
The total period January – October 2025 shows a continuation of the upward trend:
+6.4% more guests compared to the same period in 2024.
+11.6% more overnight stays compared to the same period in 2024.
We are extremely satisfied with the achieved results, as the increase in the number of guests and overnight stays has been recorded continuously throughout the year, confirming Sarajevo's status as an increasingly attractive and recognizable tourist destination.
