(Patria) - Despite the rainy weather, due to relatively high air temperatures, traffic on the roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina this morning is proceeding without major difficulties.
Fog reduces visibility on the Ripač-Vrtoče and Bosanski Petrovac-Drvar road sections (at Oštrelj), as well as on roads in eastern and northeastern Bosnia.
In the Čapljina area, we warn of occasional strong gusts of wind. This weather also contributes to frequent rockfalls onto the roadway.
We appeal to drivers to drive with maximum caution, maintain distance between vehicles, and avoid risky overtaking.
Due to construction work on a noise barrier on the Sarajevo sjever-Podlugovi section of the A-1 highway, traffic is only using the overtaking lane.
On the Jablanica-Blidinje main road, traffic is permitted for vehicles up to 3.5 tons, while traffic for vehicles over 3.5 tons remains suspended.
At border crossings, passenger vehicle traffic is proceeding with short delays.
Due to passenger registration under the new EU entry/exit system (EES), longer delays at border crossings are possible.
The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons. As of December 2, 2025, the Karakaj border crossing is open for all vehicle categories. Traffic for all heavy goods vehicles is prohibited at the Šepak border crossing.
