Humanitarians from the associations „Svjetlo“ and „Semerkand“ from Sarajevo will distribute more than 500 aid packages to returnees in eastern Bosnia, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.
Bosniak returnees in eastern Bosnia mostly live from agriculture, the Bosniak diaspora and donations from humanitarian organizations, so this aid in food and household supplies is welcome.
From the Association Svjetlo, they note that they wanted to brighten up Bajram for the returnees, one of the two most joyful holidays for Muslims, which is celebrated on Friday, reports NAP.
