Returnees face increasing difficulties: Two individuals apprehended following attack on Sejfić

(Patria) - Last night around 8:00 PM in Kamenica, returnee Senad Sejfić was attacked.

The attack was carried out by several individuals in a visibly intoxicated state, who, on their way back from a party, stopped right in a purely Bosniak populated area (Gornja Kamenica) and started causing trouble.

Sejfić was attacked by two residents of the neighboring village of Donja Kamenica, B. J. and B. B., who were apprehended and taken to the Zvornik Police Station after the incident. He was driving past the mosque, where he planned to perform his prayers. At that moment, several vehicles approached his car, coming from the direction of Šekovići.

The attackers quickly surrounded Sejfić and, without any warnings or provocations, B. J. and B. B. began brutally beating Sejfić all over his body, particularly focusing blows on his head – said a local resident.

Locals immediately transported the injured Senad Sejfić to the Zvornik Police Station to report the incident. The police acted quickly and arrested the two attackers, detaining them at the Zvornik Police Station.

After the attack, Sejfić was transferred to the emergency room, where the severity of his injuries sustained during this attack is currently being determined.
