Returnees and Fates: Surviving on 75 KM Child Allowance and Collecting Secondary Raw Materials

The difficult life of returnees to Republika Srpska is nothing new. Returnee families struggle to make ends meet, while male household members earn a living by day laboring for others when seasonal work is available.

The family of Amel Ramić from Hranca near Bratunac also does not have an easy life, and this young married couple survives on 75 KM child allowance and collecting secondary raw materials if they manage to find something somewhere.

Incidentally, a large number of families, due to unemployment, have decided to scavenge through landfills to secure a meal for themselves and their families.
