Favorable Driving Conditions, Pay Attention to Roadworks

(Patria) - According to collected data, this morning traffic on the roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina is proceeding under favorable weather conditions and with good accessibility on most routes.

During the day, we expect an increased frequency of vehicles, especially in urban areas, so we appeal to drivers to be as cautious as possible and to respect all traffic regulations.

Due to roadworks for the construction of a noise barrier on the A-1 highway section Podlugovi-Sarajevo sjever, traffic is proceeding in the overtaking lane.

Due to finishing works, today and tomorrow, between 08:00 and 18:00, traffic will be suspended on the regional road R-460 Gračanica-Srnice. During the suspension, all motor vehicles will use the road via Srebrenik.

Roadworks are also ongoing on the main roads: Semizovac-Olovo, Jablanica-Prozor (Mirci), Ustikolina-Goražde (Mravinjac), Sarajevo-Pale, Vrhpolje-Ključ, and Bijeljina-Šepak (in Janja).

We remind you that traffic is allowed for all vehicles up to 3.5 tons of total mass on the Jablanica-Blidinje route.

At border crossings, waiting times for passenger vehicles range from 10 to 30 minutes. Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons.

Please note that waiting times at border crossings are subject to frequent changes. Drivers have access to video surveillance cameras on our website www.bihamk.ba.

Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons of maximum permissible mass at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Trucks over 5 tons are redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing. Trucks can travel through the Šepak border crossing from 09:00 to 13:00 and from 22:00 to 06:00 (on weekends, they can cross between 22:00 and 06:00).
