(Patria) - On the last day of the week, traffic on the roads of Bosnia and Herzegovina is moving under favourable weather conditions.
Roads are mostly passable, without major disruptions or difficult traffic, BIHAMK reports this morning.
With better weather conditions, an increased number of cyclists, motorcyclists, and electric scooter users is recorded. BIHAMK appeals to all traffic participants to adhere to traffic regulations.
Traffic is suspended on the main road Jablanica-Bildinje, as well as on the regional road Ugljevik-Glavičice, in the place Ugljevik selo.
Due to active landslides, the main roads Dobro Polje-Foča (at locations Sijeračke stijene and Tuhalji) and Gacko-Tjentište (between the tunnels Čemerno and Surdup) stand out.
Works are ongoing on the A-1 motorway section Visoko-Podlugovi, as well as on the main roads: Tuzla-Šićki Brod (turn for Lipnica), Ustikolina-Goražde (Mravinjac), Sarajevo-Pale, and Jablanica-Mostar (Donja Jablanica).
A long queue of passenger vehicles is at the exit from Bosnia and Herzegovina at the border crossings Gradina, Bosanska Gradiška, and Orašje.
At other border crossings, traffic frequency occasionally increases, but passenger vehicles do not wait longer than 30 minutes to cross the border.
Due to bridge damage, the Brčko border crossing can only be used by pedestrians.
Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tonnes maximum permissible mass at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik).
Freight vehicles over 5 tonnes are redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the GP Šepak crossing.
Freight vehicles can operate at GP Šepak from 09:00 to 13:00 and from 22:00 to 06:00 (on weekends they can cross during the period from 22:00 to 06:00).
