Favorable Driving Conditions, Traffic Reduced to One Lane Due to Bridge Repairs on Konjic-Jablanica Road

(Patria) - In most of Bosnia and Herzegovina, traffic is moving under favorable weather conditions this morning. However, cautious driving is advised, respecting all traffic regulations.

Due to repair works on the expansion joint of the bridge in Ostrožac, on the Konjic-Jablanica main road, traffic is moving slowly, one lane at a time, regulated by traffic lights.

Works are also underway on the A-1 highway section Podlugovi-Sarajevo sjever, as well as on the main roads: Klašnice-Banja Luka, Bileća-Trebinje, Jablanica-Blidinje (Jablanica-Kosne Luke), Zenica-Doboj (Donja Vraca-Liješnica), Jablanica-Prozor (Mirci settlement), Mostar-Čitluk (at the entrance to Čitluk), Jajce-Crna Rijeka, and Gacko-Foča (in Sastavci).

Due to a public event and high vehicle frequency, longer queues and slow traffic are possible on the Šićki Brod-Gračanica main road (in Puračić).

Due to road damage on the Žepče–Maglaj main road (Ozimica location), at the junction with the future highway interchange, traffic is moving slowly.

Regular maintenance of traffic lights will be carried out today at intersections on the Tuzla-Simin Han and Tuzla-Miladije main roads, as well as in the Živinice area.

The registration of passengers under the new European Union Entry/Exit System (EES) has begun, which may occasionally cause longer waits at border crossings. This morning, there are no long waits for passenger vehicles at border crossings.

The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons. Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons of maximum allowed weight at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Freight vehicles over 5 tons are redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing. Freight vehicles can use the Šepak border crossing from 09:00 to 13:00 and from 22:00 to 06:00 (on weekends, they can cross between 22:00 and 06:00).
