Favorable Driving Conditions, Landslides on Several Road Sections

(Patria) - Traffic on the roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina is proceeding under favorable weather conditions, on dry asphalt and with good visibility. Due to frequent landslides, we advise special caution on the following sections: Turbe-Banja Luka, Crna Rijeka-Mrkonjić Grad, Sarajevo-Foča-Šćepan Polje and Višegrad-Ustiprača-Rogatica. During the day, we expect increased vehicle traffic on main roads as well as approaches to city centers. Drive carefully and respect all traffic regulations.

Numerous sections have ongoing construction work, and slower traffic is possible in those sections. We highlight the A-1 highway section Podlugovi-Sarajevo sjever, as well as the main roads: Semizovac-Olovo, Jablanica-Prozor (Mirci), Ustikolina-Goražde (Mravinjac), Vrhpolje-Ključ and Posušje-GP Osoje.

We remind you that traffic is allowed for all vehicles up to 3.5 tons of total mass on the Jablanica-Blidinje main road.

At border crossings, delays for passenger vehicles are currently no longer than 10 to 30 minutes. The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons.

We note that waiting times at border crossings are subject to frequent changes. Drivers have access to video surveillance cameras on our website bihamk.ba.

Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons of maximum allowed mass at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Trucks over 5 tons are redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing. Trucks can travel through the Šepak border crossing from 9 AM to 1 PM and from 10 PM to 6 AM (on weekends, they can cross between 10 PM and 6 AM).
