Favorable Driving Conditions, Pay Attention to Roadworks

(Patria) - According to data collected this morning, traffic in Bosnia and Herzegovina is on dry or wet roads, while visibility is reduced in the wider area of Čapljina and Kladanj.

There are no special restrictions, except on sections where traffic is altered due to roadworks.

Increased vehicle frequency is expected during the day, especially in larger urban centers, which is why we appeal to drivers to drive with maximum caution and maintain a safe distance between vehicles. Avoid risky overtaking and be sure to use your seatbelt.

Movement of all vehicles across the bridge on the Dobro Polje-Miljevina main road is prohibited. Vehicles with a total weight of up to 3.5 tons can use the road over Grebak or Kalinovik (there is 19 km of unpaved road), while trucks must use the route via Rogatica and Ustiprača.

Due to construction works on a noise barrier on the A-1 Sarajevo sjever-Podlugovi highway section, traffic is only using the overtaking lane.

On the Jablanica-Blidinje main road, traffic is allowed for vehicles up to 3.5 tons, while traffic for vehicles over 3.5 tons is still suspended.

Due to the arrangement of the roadside along the Cazin-Velika Kladuša main road, traffic is slow, using one lane, at the site of the works between 08:00 and 16:00.

At border crossings, waiting times for passenger vehicles are short.

Due to passenger registration under the new European Union entry/exit system (EES, Entry/Exit System), longer waiting times at border crossings are possible.

The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons. As of December 2, 2025, the Karakaj border crossing is open for all categories of vehicles. Traffic for all trucks is prohibited at the Šepak border crossing.
