Favorable Driving Conditions, Border Crossing Status Can Also Be Checked

(Patria) - Driving conditions are favorable this morning, and increased vehicle traffic is expected on city roads and approaches to city centers in the morning hours. Due to high daily temperatures, we advise traveling longer distances in the early morning or evening hours. Slower traffic can be expected on sections where construction work is underway, as well as on sections with active landslides.

Due to regular servicing of tunnels on the A-1 highway, tunnels Vis, 25.novembar, and Grab will be closed to traffic in the direction of Lepenica-Tarčin, and vehicles will travel in both directions on the opposite side of the highway.

Work is also underway on the A-1 highway section Visoko-Podlugovi, as well as on the main roads: Tuzla-Šićki Brod (turn for Lipnica), Ustikolina-Goražde, Sarajevo-Pale, Jablanica-Mostar (Donja Jablanica), and Čatrnja-Kruškik-GP Gradiška.

Due to active landslides, we highlight the main roads Dobro Polje-Foča (at locations Sijeračke stijene and Tuhalji) and Gacko-Tjentište (between tunnels Čemerno and Surdup).

Traffic is suspended on the main road Jablanica-Blidinje, as well as on the regional road Ugljevik-Glavičice, in the village of Ugljevik.

There are no long waits for passenger vehicles at border crossings. We note that waits at border crossings are subject to frequent changes. Drivers have access to video surveillance cameras on the bihamk.ba website. Due to bridge damage, the Brčko border crossing can only be used by pedestrians.

Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons of maximum permissible weight at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Trucks over 5 tons are redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing. Trucks can travel through the Šepak border crossing from 9 AM to 1 PM and from 10 PM to 6 AM (on weekends, they can cross between 10 PM and 6 AM).
