Increased PM10 concentrations in the air, measures from the 'Warning' episode in effect

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Air quality in Sarajevo Canton has worsened compared to the previous weekend. Measurements of pollutant concentrations in the air show increased PM10 particle values. Thus, at Otoka today, the average daily PM10 value up to 2:00 PM was 169.50, in Ilijaš 293.61, and at Vijećnica 76.65µg/m 3.

Thus, the "Warning" episode remains in effect, as well as the application of measures from the Plan of Emergency Measures in Cases of Excessive Air Pollution.

According to the weather forecast of the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute, mostly cloudy weather is expected in the coming days, without precipitation, with fog or mist in the lower parts of the city, light wind of variable direction, and the occurrence of temperature inversion, due to which no improvement in air quality can be expected.
