Increased number of unemployed in July, more than 50 percent women

In July, there were 548,612 people registered with employment services in BiH, an increase of 3,250 people compared to June, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

Of the total number of people seeking employment, 279,918 are women.

In the Federation of BiH, there are 389,861 people registered, in Republika Srpska 146,616, and in Brčko District 12,135.

Compared to June, unemployment increased in the Federation of BiH by 2,456 people, in Republika Srpska by 678 people, and in Brčko District of BiH by 116 people.

In the structure of job seekers, as of the seventh month of this year, there are 150,479 unskilled workers, 10,303 semi-skilled workers, 188,149 skilled workers, 3,336 highly skilled workers, 1,627 with no specific schooling, 145,797 with secondary schooling, 7,802 with higher vocational education, and 41,119 with university education.

In July, a total of 16,079 people were removed from the employment service registries, and of that number, 9,567 people found employment through the employment services.

At the same time, 7,082 people's employment relationships ended, while employers reported the need for 3,285 new workers during this period, reports Patria.
