An investigation ordered by the BiH Prosecutor's Office regarding the purchase of "Bosnalijek" shares by HADEN is ongoing, reports the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).
This news was also confirmed to us by the Agency for Investigations and Protection (SIPA).
- The State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) is acting on an order from the BiH Prosecutor's Office in this specific case, which relates to the collection of certain documentation from several legal entities in the Sarajevo area. The execution of the order is underway. For all other information, please contact the BiH Prosecutor's Office, which is solely authorized to release it – says Kristina Jozić, SIPA police officer.
We remind you that we previously reported that searches would be conducted at more than 20 locations in connection with this case, and the investigative actions are expected to uncover a criminal network that has been buying company shares on the stock exchange for years using the same method, but with very suspicious money.
Zijad Blekić, the general owner of the brokerage house "Eurohaus", as well as high-ranking officials of the SDP and SDA, Damir Hadžić and Asim Sarajlić, are directly involved in the entire suspicious purchase of "Bosnalijek" shares from various funds. They were in direct contact throughout the sale of "Bosnalijek" shares, and it is known that during that period it was always said that a part of the SDP (Hadžić) and SDA (Sarajlić) heavily controlled the stock exchange.
Incidentally, as Patria learned last week in a Sarajevo restaurant, it is indicative that precisely at the time when SIPA was collecting documentation related to "Bosnalijek", high-ranking officials of the SDP and SDA, Damir Hadžić, Asim Sarajlić, Admir Kešo, Nedim Uzunović, the director of "Bosnalijek", and state prosecutor Dubravko Čampara were seen together.
What they discussed is unknown for now, but it is likely that they are now in a panic due to the investigation launched by the BiH Prosecutor's Office – says our source, who is well-informed about the years-long malversations and crimes associated with this once strongest pharmaceutical company in the region.
The fact that no one questioned why the price of shares, which are actively traded on the Sarajevo Stock Exchange, remained the same for months also casts suspicion on the entire sale of "Bosnalijek" shares, writes Patria.
