Appointment of New Ministers in the FBiH Government Confirmed

The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has a new Government. The House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament confirmed the appointment of four ministers in the FBiH Government from the Alliance for a Better Future (SBB BiH), which will allow the FBiH Government to start working at full capacity, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

Starting tomorrow, Edita Đapo will be the Minister of Tourism in the FBiH Government, Zlatan Vujanović will be the Minister of Trade in the FBiH, Nermin Džindić will be the Minister of Energy, while Vesko Drljača will take over the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy.

After the Democratic Front (DF) withdrew from the coalition with SDA and HDZ BiH in May this year, citing that their coalition partners had passed an illegal Decree on the method of appointing heads of public enterprises, the Federation of BiH lost its parliamentary majority, and the four DF ministers in the FBiH Government also resigned.

After almost half a year, the Federation of BiH has gained a parliamentary majority with the entry of SBB into the coalition with SDA and HDZ BiH in October this year, writes NAP.
