(Patria) - Official confirmation of the vote on the draft resolution on the Srebrenica genocide has arrived from the UN General Assembly, with the session scheduled for May 23.
The vote on the Resolution, which will establish July 11 as the International Day of Remembrance of the Srebrenica Genocide, has been postponed several times, although the UN General Assembly was not scheduled.
Otherwise, today the United Nations Security Council will hold a regular session on the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will be addressed by the High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina Christian Schmidt and member of the BiH Presidency Denis Bećirović, who is in the USA.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has also traveled to the USA to lobby against the adoption of the resolution.
From the very beginning, the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, has been threatening that things will change in BiH after the adoption of the resolution.
