Fahrudin Solak confirmed as FUCZ Director

By decision of the FBiH Government, Fahrudin Solak has been appointed Director of the Federal Civil Protection Administration, who has been acting director since November 2013, when the former director Alija Tihić was dismissed, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

Among other things, the FBiH Government made two decisions regarding assistance to areas of FBiH affected by this year's floods and landslides.

With the first decision, it approved the allocation of 100,000 convertible marks from this year's Budget, which represents initial funds for financing the personnel and material-technical prerequisites for the operation of the Federal Fund for Assistance to Areas Affected by Natural Disasters in FBiH.

A Decision was also made approving the distribution by the Federal Ministry of Finance of all collected funds, as well as all funds that will be collected in a special dedicated account titled "Special Transaction Account for Payment of Funds for Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters and Reconstruction of Areas Affected by Natural Disasters", opened as a sub-account within the Unified Treasury Account of FBiH, it was announced from the FBiH Government, reports Patria.
