Government of Tuzla Canton Confirmed: Prime Minister Halilagić and Ministers Take Oath, Conclusion on Protection of Constitutional and Legal Order Adopted

(Patria) - The Tuzla Canton Assembly today confirmed the new Government of Tuzla Canton, which will be led by Prime Minister Irfan Halilagić (SDA), with 19 votes in favor, 10 against, and three abstentions.

The Prime Minister and ministers in the Government of Tuzla Canton took a solemn oath, thereby assuming their duties.

We recall that after the Government of Irfan Halilagić was dismissed on February 20, and a new one was voted in, composed of the parties of the troika, SD, PDA, with the support of several representatives, a reversal occurred within four days. Two representatives changed their minds and returned to the previous majority.

On Tuesday, the Government of Tuzla Canton, headed by Edis Dervišagić (SDP BiH), was dismissed.

The Tuzla Canton Assembly also adopted a conclusion regarding the current political situation in BiH:

"The Tuzla Canton Assembly calls on the Council of Ministers of BiH to urgently undertake all activities and measures within its competence to protect the constitutional and legal order and sovereignty of BiH throughout its entire territory," which was supported by all representatives.
