The Court of BiH confirmed an indictment against four former police officers for war crimes committed against civilians in the Čapljina area, BIRN reported, according to the Patria News Agency.
The Prosecution charges Nikola Zovko, former head of the Čapljina Police Station, Petar Krndelj, commander of that station, Krešo Rajič, commander of the Military Police platoon, and Ivica Čutura, an active police officer and sector manager in Domanovići.
They are accused of committing murders, as well as inhumane treatment, torture, and inflicting injuries on civilians of Bosniak nationality between July 19 and 28, 1993.
