The District Court in Banja Luka confirmed the indictment against Ratko Marinović for war crimes against the civilian population committed in the village of Ovanjska near Oštra Luka, BIRN reported, NAP news agency reports.
According to the indictment, Marinović, as a member of the Army of Republika Srpska (VRS), fired an automatic rifle at the victim A.M. in his family home in the village of Ovanjska.
Marinović, as stated in the indictment, hit A.M. in the chest and right upper arm.
A plea hearing for the accused Marinović will be scheduled in the coming period, NAP writes.
