Indictment Confirmed for Exam Rigging and Bribery

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Municipal Court in Sarajevo has confirmed an indictment against Irfan Šuško, Hamda Alić, Dika Šarić, Aida Bičakčić, Hasan Bičakčić, Kerim Bičakčić and Valida Hubić for the criminal offenses of accepting gifts or other forms of benefit, accepting a reward or other form of benefit for influence peddling, and giving gifts or other forms of benefit, announced the Prosecutor's Office of the Sarajevo Canton. 
 
According to the indictment, Irfan Šuško is charged with, in June and July 2017, as a professor at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics of the University of Sarajevo, through the mediation of the accused Hamda Alić, demanding and taking money in the amount of about 1,500.00 marks for passing the exam in the subject of histology and embryology of animals and humans. The said money was divided between the accused. 
 
At the same time, Irfan Šuškić, Valida Hubić, otherwise a technical secretary at the Faculty of Medicine in Sarajevo, and Dika Šarić are accused of helping Hasan Bičakčić, a student at the Faculty of Dentistry in Sarajevo, to illegally, more precisely, without studying, pass anatomy. In return, Bičakčić's parents promised them money in the amount of several thousand marks. 
 
Incidentally, after the confirmation of the indictment by the decision of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, the accused Irfan Šuško was released from custody and was imposed a ban on contacting and meeting with witnesses and the accused.
