Indictment confirmed in the Profit case

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Cantonal Court confirmed the indictment of the KS Prosecutor's Office against 19 individuals in the "Profit" case. The indictment was filed against: Zijad Blekić, Edin Dizdar, Armin Mulahusić, Daver Halilbegović, Hasan Ćelama, Muharem Bajrić, Ramiz Bibić, Naser Dace, Jasmin Jusufranić, Smiljka Jusufranić, Branislav Petrović, Mirsad Imamović, Edin Muftić, Alen Murguz, Elma Mulahusić, Edina Halilbegović, Azra Blekić Aydogan, Hamdija Zvrko and Husein Zvrko. 

They are accused of criminal offenses of organized crime, abuse of position, money laundering, fraud in business operations, etc.  

They are accused of organizing a group from 2006 to 2014 that illegally acquired property benefits of approximately 30 million marks through fictitious share purchases, capital market manipulation, and money withdrawal through fictitious legal transactions. 

The indictment was preceded by a complex investigation by the KS Prosecutor's Office in cooperation with SIPA. The KS Prosecutor's Office proposed 196 witnesses and more than 6,000 material evidence.  

The court is still in the investigation phase, and at the proposal of the KS Prosecutor's Office, blocked more than seven million marks that were in the accounts of the suspects and their companies. These are 24 accounts opened with nine banks and one investment fund. In the indictment, the prosecuting prosecutors proposed the confiscation of property benefits acquired through criminal acts in the amount of several million. Also, it was proposed to the court to extend the custody of Zijad Blekić, Edin Dizdar, Armin Mulahusić and Jasmin Jusufranić. For the other suspects, an extension of the prohibition measures was requested.
