Indictment against Vasić, Zoljić and Pantić for genocide against Bosniaks in Srebrenica confirmed

The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed on December 16, 2014, an indictment charging Dragomir Vasić, Danilo Zoljić and Radomir Pantić with the criminal offense of genocide under Article 171, points a) and b) in conjunction with Article 180, paragraph 1, and Articles 29 and 31 of the Criminal Code of BiH, reports Patria News Agency.

The indictment states, among other things, that the accused Dragomir Vasić, as commander of the Staff of Police Forces Zvornik and head of the Public Security Center Zvornik, Danilo Zoljić as commander of the Special Police Units of the Public Security Center Zvornik, and Radomir Pantić, as commander of the 1st Company of the Special Police Units of the Public Security Center Zvornik, acting individually and in agreement with other participants in a joint criminal enterprise, during the period from July 6 to November 1, 1995, in the UN protected zone of Srebrenica, aided in the commission of the criminal offense by inflicting severe physical and mental suffering, forced displacement of the population, separation of men and boys from their families, and the capture and execution of Bosniak men and boys in the wider area of the municipalities of Bratunac, Srebrenica, and Zvornik.
