(Patria) - The Municipal Court in Sarajevo confirmed the indictment of the Sarajevo Cantonal Prosecutor's Office against Vesna Tataragić for the criminal offense of forging an official document.
The accused is charged that on March 10, 2022, she notarized and drafted minutes of the extraordinary General Meeting of the company Bosnalijek, faking the data within them. Namely, the General Meeting was held in a catering facility, i.e., outside the Company's headquarters, without any decision from the Supervisory Board to hold such a session. Thus, the accused falsified data, wrote, and certified minutes in which she stated that the extraordinary General Meeting was held on the Company's premises.
The accused has been proposed a three-year ban from practicing as a notary from the date the verdict becomes final. The prosecutor proposed to the court the hearing of 19 witnesses and the presentation of about 50 material pieces of evidence for the main trial.
