Indictment Confirmed Against Elmedin Omerinović (24) from Bosanska Krupa for Attempted Murder

(Patria) - The Cantonal Court in Bihać has confirmed the indictment of the Una-Sana Canton (USK) Prosecutor's Office against Elmedin Omerinović (24) due to reasonable suspicion that he attempted to kill a person in July 2025.

The accused, in front of a shopping center in Bosanska Krupa, took a knife with a rubber handle, approximately 220 millimeters long, from his vehicle and inflicted three stab wounds on a person in the front abdominal area, one of which constitutes a serious bodily injury.

This was preceded by a verbal and physical altercation between them.

The USK Prosecutor's Office also proposed in the indictment that a security measure be imposed on Omerinović, confiscating the knife with a rubber handle used to inflict the described injuries.
