Indictment Confirmed Against Two Men Who Threatened Editor of 'Radio Sarajevo' Portal

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Municipal Court in Sarajevo has confirmed the indictment of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office against Adnan Berbo and Almir Šobović for the criminal offense of endangering security. The defendants are charged with, on September 27, 2019, in the afternoon hours, after contacting the editorial office of the portal "Radio Sarajevo" by phone on several occasions, coming in front of the editorial office premises and insisting that journalists of that portal arrange a conversation with the editor regarding a published text about the deprivation of liberty of FK Sarajevo fans in Belarus.

Upon the arrival of the journalist and editor at the "Davorin i Mirza" park, the defendant Adnan Berbo got into the face of the editor with initials A.S. and addressed him in a raised tone with the words: "Are you aware that you and your family could be dead because of this text, this city is small and we can find you at any time."

Then the defendant Almir Šobović said, "We know where you sit at the stadium, you have your seat and you won't be able to come to matches."

After that, the defendants forbade the injured party A.S. to leave until he withdrew the said text, which, fearing for his personal safety and the safety of his family members, the injured party did.
