Poturak back in the ring: Aims to unify belts

In the Zenica City Arena, under the patronage of the BiH company “Bekto preciza“ on August 15th and with the support of the Municipality of Zenica, the best BiH K1 fighter, Dževad Poturak, will fight for the world championship title in the WAKO version, reports the Patria News Agency.

BH Machine's opponent will be the French super heavyweight Abderahman Coulibaly. In addition to his fight, rivals from the region will include Elmir Mehić, Dario Kadić, Adis Dadović, Bahrudin Mahmić, Mesud Selimović, and Dženan Poturak.

Certainly, Coulibaly will represent a great challenge for our fighter, but Poturak emphasizes that he is maximally prepared and believes in himself.

- I think this is the best way to show everyone that I can still fight and thus represent our homeland with dignity. I have been given the opportunity to unify the belts that are missing in my career, and precisely because of that, I have enormous motivation and desire to show the Zenica audience, and the whole world, that Bosnia and Herzegovina has excellent fighters - stated Poturak, adding that he is extremely pleased that several promising Bosnian-Herzegovinian fighters will also have their fights, thus getting an opportunity for affirmation.

In his career, Poturak has had a total of 74 fights, achieving a record of 50 wins, 30 of which by knockout, 23 losses, and one draw. All sports fans will be able to follow the match in a live television broadcast on FaceTV. Tickets for this fighting spectacle will go on sale at the beginning of August, and prices will be 5 KM for the stands and 10 KM for the floor.
