Manjača camp was a concentration camp on Mount Manjača near Banja Luka, where the authorities and army of the Republika Srpska held Bosniak and Croat prisoners, writes the BH news agency Patria (NAP). And so that the crimes committed in this camp are not forgotten, the Association of Camp Inmates of Bosnia and Herzegovina will mark November 15 as a day of remembrance for the closure of this camp.

Manjača camp was established by the Yugoslav People's Army (JNA) during the aggression against Croatia in 1991, in order to detain hundreds of Croatian prisoners of war. When the Serbian aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina began in 1992, Bosniak prisoners soon outnumbered Croatian prisoners.

It is estimated that between 3,000 and 8,000 people passed through Manjača camp. The number of killed is unknown.

The camp was closed at the end of 1992 due to international pressure, but was reopened for a time in 1995.
