Commission for Oversight of OSA's Work Needs to Convene Urgently

The Commission for Oversight of OSA's Work has not yet met, nor is the date known for when it might convene to discuss the situation surrounding the alleged wiretapping of Croatian officials and the entire story that has appeared in the media, reports the Patria agency.

Darko Babalj (SDS), a member of the Commission, emphasized that it is necessary for Bariša Čolak and Safet Softić to convene the Commission's session as soon as possible to determine whether what has been released to the public is true or not.

Sadik Ahmetović (Independent Bloc) also stated that it is the obligation of Bariša Čolak, after Nikola Šprilić was removed from the Commission, to convene the Commission's session.

He emphasized that he believes there was no wiretapping of Croatian officials, but he cannot rule out the possibility that some individuals in BiH were wiretapped who posed a threat or committed criminal offenses, which, as Ahmetović believes, was done in accordance with the law.

- We have a good law on the intelligence service, we also have good oversight of its work, it is only necessary to clarify things based on documents and these legal solutions - said Ahmetović. 

We remind you that the director of the Security Intelligence Agency (SOA), Daniel Markić, will travel to Sarajevo today, where he is expected to talk with the director of the Intelligence Security Agency of BiH (OSA), Osman Mehmedagić, which has been confirmed to the Patria agency by multiple sources from the BiH Parliament.
