A Pro-Bosnian Reform Bloc Must Be Urgently Formed

The Chairman of the Council of Coordination of Bosniak Non-Governmental Organizations (BNVO) Ahmed Adilović, stated in an interview for the BH news agency Patria (NAP) that the coordination, which gathers 36 non-governmental organizations from all parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, supports protests as a way of expressing civic dissatisfaction, but they have most strongly condemned vandalism and the burning of state-owned facilities.

Adilović told NAP that BNVO demands all pro-Bosnian parties to immediately form expert teams and develop programs that would mean economic recovery of the country and resolution of accumulated social problems in the state!

- The BNVO Council supports institutions and officials who enforce the law, but we demand that they perform their duties conscientiously and professionally, in order to prevent anarchy – said Adilović.

BNVO also demands a review of privatization, urgent adoption of the Law on Origin of Property, abolition of a large number of benefits for MPs and ministers at all levels of government, introduction of austerity measures in public administration, attracting investors to the country, and strengthening aid programs for socially vulnerable categories of society.

Furthermore, as Adilović adds, BNVO demands the leadership of all pro-Bosnian parties to make decisions on forming a joint list for the General Elections in the smaller BH entity, which would be a clear indication of their consensus for preserving a whole Bosnia and Herzegovina and protecting the human rights and interests of all citizens.
