Plan needed to ensure a higher quality teaching process in schools

(Patria) - On the results of the Programme for International Student Assessment "PISA 2018. Report for Bosnia and Herzegovina", the Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Sarajevo Canton Zina Bogunić held a working meeting today with Dženan Husremović, Mustafa Memić, Muhamed Dželilović, Haris Memišević, and the president of the working group for curricular reform, Namira Ibrahimović.

During the meeting, possibilities for developing an action plan were discussed, the implementation of which would ensure a higher quality teaching process in schools in the Sarajevo Canton area, and thus achieve better results in future assessments of students' knowledge and skills from the KS area.

It was concluded that the faculties of education should conduct a detailed analysis of the results of the "PISA 2018. Report for Bosnia and Herzegovina" and that a new meeting should be held within 30 days at the latest to consider the possibilities of developing an action plan that would precisely define the role, activities, and responsibilities of all entities involved in the implementation of the teaching process, especially the faculties of education that train future teachers.

In this regard, the necessity of continuous coordination of all future activities that will be carried out based on the results of the "PISA 2018. Report for Bosnia and Herzegovina" research was emphasized.
