Caution Needed: Snow, Ice, Wind Gusts

Traffic is difficult and slow on roads in BiH this morning. Light to moderate snow is falling in most of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and it is accumulating on the roads in higher mountain areas, BIHAMK announced, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

- Due to low morning temperatures in lower areas, as well as in shaded parts of roads in higher areas, on bridges, and near tunnels, we warn of icy conditions on the road surface. Road service crews are intervening on all sections where necessary, and we advise drivers to drive with maximum caution, to adjust their driving to the current conditions, and not to set off without winter equipment.

Lower temperatures are expected in the coming days, and it will be as low as -15 degrees Celsius until Thursday. Forecasts are not optimistic, with wind gusts expected, and the cold wave will bring lower temperatures. Such weather has also affected the region, with both Belgrade and Zagreb covered in snow this morning.
