Search yields results: Amel Sejfović captured

After an eight-day escape, Amel Sejfović was captured in the area of Visoko, confirmed by the MUP KS for the Patria agency.

The intensive and extensive operation by several police agencies in the Visoko area lasted from Friday, where his belongings were found in a hut. In the past few days, several of Sejfović's accomplices have been arrested, as well as employees of the KPZ Sarajevo who facilitated his escape. Six people are in custody, while another accomplice has been handed over to the Prosecutor's Office of the Sarajevo Canton.

Sejfović escaped from KPZ Sarajevo on Sunday, September 3, where a masked accomplice was waiting for him on a motorcycle.

Sejfović is on trial for the robbery of a bank in Ilidža on November 5, 2015, when more than 300,000 KM was stolen, which has never been found.

Along with Sejfović, Arif Hajradinović, Alma Sejfović, Nizama Beširević, Haris Hajrović, Goran Šakota, Samir Baltić, Jasmin Ibišević, and Tarik Zećirović are also charged. They are accused of several serious crimes, including: the criminal offense of robbery, the criminal offense of attempted murder, serious criminal offenses against the general safety of people and property, the criminal offense of preparation of a criminal offense, and the criminal offense of aiding the perpetrator after the commission of a criminal offense.
