Our Party's Vice-President Mirsad Čamdžić Presented as Candidate for Mayor of Gračanica

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Our Party today presented its candidate for mayor in Gračanica. This is Mirsad Čamdžić, Vice-President of Our Party and a representative in the FBiH Parliament.

Mirsad Čamdžić said that in Gračanica, everything in the last 20 years has been "subordinated to the interests of one man." He cited his previous efforts for the city as a reason for the citizens of Gračanica to vote for him.

"I asked Prime Minister Novalić in the Federal Parliament for 500,000 KM for a sports hall," Čamdžić said, among other things, emphasizing that to achieve this goal, he created a synergy of different political parties, connecting representatives from SDA, SDP, and the Democratic Front with representatives of Our Party. He also mentioned his successes in the Municipal Council when he held the position of councilor for Our Party.

Čamdžić believes that Gračanica needs to regain its self-confidence and presence in other environments, especially in Sarajevo. In this regard, he said that he will use his own lobbying potential, but that the lobbying potential of the entire party is also available to him to attract much-needed investments to Gračanica.

Our Party will present a detailed program for Gračanica once the campaign is officially launched. For now, he has listed three things he will definitely do in Gračanica if elected: complete the sports hall, build a roundabout near the Bosnian Cultural Center, and construct a parking lot near the market. Regarding the parking lot, he said that the Law on Public-Private Partnership will be applied for the first time in this case.

The president of Our Party, Predrag Kojović, and Edin Forto, political director of Our Party, also spoke about Čamdžić.

"One thing is missing for Gračanica to become a Bosnian city of the 21st century. Gračanica is missing a young, new, energetic person as mayor. That is Mirsad Čamdžić," said President Kojović, among other things.

Edin Forto said that "Gračanica has not had a better representative from any party in the Federal Parliament than Mirsad Čamdžić." He also said that after the victory, Our Party will direct all its capacities to make Gračanica a mirror of change.
