FBiH Vice President Lendo meets with Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo Kurti

(Patria) - FBiH Vice President Refik Lendo met today with Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo Albin Kurti.

The meeting discussed relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Kosovo, and possibilities for improving mutual cooperation.

Vice President Lendo thanked Prime Minister Kurti for the decision to abolish the visa regime for citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and expressed hope that the competent institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina will reciprocate with a reciprocal measure in the near future.

It was assessed that intensifying mutual dialogue and establishing institutional ties would significantly contribute to connecting citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Kosovo, and to enhancing cooperation in the areas of economy, culture, security and education.

It was noted that cooperation between the two countries is particularly important in the context of achieving common foreign policy goals, namely membership in the European Union and NATO.

Special attention was paid to relations in the region, and to global events that reflect on the situation in this part of Europe.

The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Emilija Redžepi.
