Signing of contracts for sustainable return: Three million KM for projects

In the Great Hall of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH tomorrow, the Federal Minister for Displaced Persons and Refugees Edin Ramić will sign contracts with legal and natural persons for sustainable return projects. The signing will be attended by the Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH Fadil Novalić.

These are the Project for Support of Start-up Programs, i.e. initial businesses, then the Program for Employment of Returnees in Small Businesses, the Program for Assistance in Completing Internships through the work of returnees with higher education in the Republika Srpska, and the Program for Support of Investment Projects aimed at employing returnees.

The Federal Ministry for Displaced Persons and Refugees has allocated approximately 3 million KM for these purposes this year.

The Project for Support of Start-up Programs is a novelty in the Ministry's previous activities. It is planned to support 20 projects in 14 municipalities with grant funds, for which 182,575 KM has been allocated.

For the continuation of the Program for Employment of Returnees in Small Businesses, 1,343,000 KM has been allocated this year, and 25 projects in 14 municipalities will be supported. This program has provided jobs for at least 176 returnees in the past and current year.

The Program for Assistance in Completing Internships through work without employment for returnees with higher education is being implemented for the fourth time. This year, internships have been provided for 76 candidates with 28 employers, for which this ministry has allocated more than 370,000 KM.

Within the Program for Support of Investment Projects aimed at employing returnees, it is planned to sign contracts with 12 business entities with more than 10 employees. Projects for expanding facility capacities, procurement of machinery and equipment in the amount of 1,200,000 KM have been supported, and 86 new workers will be employed for a period of at least 36 months.
