Signing of the Collective Agreement for Public Administration Officials

The Collective Agreement for officials of public administration bodies and judicial authorities in FBiH will be signed today at the premises of the Federal Ministry of Justice.

The Federal Government, at its 104th emergency session held on 15.2.2018, gave its consent to the Collective Agreement for officials of public administration bodies and judicial authorities in FBiH, which was determined by the negotiating teams of the FBiH Government and the Trade Union of Civil Servants and Employees in State Service Bodies, Judicial Authorities and Public Institutions in FBiH.

The Collective Agreement will be signed on behalf of the FBiH Government by the Federal Minister of Justice, Mato Jozić, and authorized representatives of the seven cantons that have so far adopted this agreement (Sarajevo, Una-Sana, Zenica-Doboj, Herzegovina-Neretva, Posavina, Central Bosnia, and Bosniak-Podrinje), and the president of the Independent Trade Union of Civil Servants of FBiH, Samir Kurtović.

This is the second collective agreement that the current FBiH Government is signing for this area of activity, which covers about 40,000 employees in the public administration of FBiH at the municipal, cantonal, and federal levels.

At the end of last year, the Collective Agreement for the mining sector was signed for the second time, and negotiations are underway for concluding these agreements for the energy and postal traffic sectors.
