Contracts signed for landslide remediation in Višnjik and Stolačka

The Municipal Mayor Dževad Bećirević and the Director of the Institute for the Development of Sarajevo Canton Ljiljana Pelidija signed contracts in the premises of the Centar Municipality on Wednesday, September 7, 2016, for the remediation of landslides in Višnjik and Stolačka street, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

The financier, the Centar Municipality, will allocate 141,190 convertible marks from its budget for the implementation of these projects for the remediation of the landslide in Višnjik, i.e., at the location between Zaima Šarca, Bolnička, and Višnjik streets, while for the remediation of the landslide at Stolačka Street 19, 21, 32, and 40, as well as for the remediation of the foundation of the building at Soukbunar 14, it will allocate 417,237 KM from this year's budget.

The funds will be transferred to the account of the Institute for the Development of KS, which is the implementer and supervisor of these projects, within a few days, which could allow the remediation of these landslides to begin soon.

Following the procedure for selecting the most favorable contractor in the tender, the landslide remediation work in Stolačka street was awarded to the construction company "Grakop" from Kiseljak, and for the remediation of landslides in the Višnjik area, the company "TB Inženjering" from Breza was selected, with whom the Institute for the Development of KS has already signed a contract.

As stated during the contract signing, the Centar Municipality has allocated approximately 12 million KM from its budget for landslide remediation in its area over the past 12 years.

Alma Sadović, Assistant Mayor for Spatial Planning and Communal Affairs of the Centar Municipality, and Fuad Babić, landslide coordinator at the Institute for the Development of KS, also attended today's contract signing.
