The Rector of the University of Sarajevo, Prof. Dr. Tarik Zaimović, recalled that by the Decision of the Senate of the University of Sarajevo, the Public Institution Emergency Medical Service of Sarajevo Canton acquired the status of a teaching base of the University of Sarajevo, and emphasized that today's signed Agreement represents an important step in strengthening the University's cooperation with institutions that contribute to its development.
„We will continue to expand the network of teaching bases that support the work of the University of Sarajevo, because partnership with various institutions is the most significant aspect of our development. The Emergency Medical Service will be of invaluable assistance to colleagues from the medical group, and this agreement will, I am convinced, improve the quality of teaching for our students.“
The Director of the Institute, Dr. Jasna Husejinbegović-Musić, emphasized that this is an important step for this institution:
„This agreement connects not only science and education, but also practice, so that we will certainly have more qualified staff in our healthcare system. The Dean of the Faculty of Health Studies, Prof. Dr. Arzija Pašalić, reflected on the long-standing cooperation of this higher education institution with the Institute:

The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Amina Valjevac, pointed out that this agreement is of particular importance for medical students:
„The signing of this agreement is extremely significant for the Faculty of Medicine, for the implementation of teaching, enriching knowledge and developing the competencies of our students. The signed Agreement regulates the mutual relations of the contracting parties in the following areas: teaching and non-cyclical forms of education, scientific research work, publishing activities, academic and other staff, material and technical conditions, which include the use of spatial capacities, teaching and scientific research equipment, financing and institutional connectivity.
