Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dragan Mektić and Director of the European Police Office (EUROPOL) Rob Wainwright signed this morning the Agreement on Operational and Strategic Cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and EUROPOL, the Patria agency reports.
This agreement will enable the exchange of operational data between BiH and the police forces of EUROPOL member states, including personal data on suspected individuals.
This is an extremely important step forward in improving cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Union countries in the field of security, primarily in combating and investigating serious forms of international crime.
