Protocol signed: Centar Municipality allocates 15,000 BAM for damage repair in Kakanj

At the proposal of the Civil Protection Service of Centar Municipality, municipal mayor Dževad Bećirević approved financial aid to Kakanj Municipality in the amount of 15,000 BAM for repairing damages caused by the activated landslide in the settlement of ''Bare'' and for the care of the affected population, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

This financial aid was allocated from the budget of Centar Municipality for 2015 from funds intended for supporting other municipalities in protection and rescue from natural and other disasters.

The donation protocol of Centar Municipality, previously signed by Mayor Dževad Bećirević, was signed on behalf of Kakanj Municipality by the assistant mayor for finance Džihad Berbić on January 22, 2015, in Centar Municipality in the presence of Vahid Bećirević, assistant mayor for civil protection affairs of Centar Municipality.

On this occasion, Berbić expressed, on behalf of Kakanj Municipality and Mayor Nermin Mandra, words of gratitude to Centar Municipality and Dževad Bećirević for the donation.

Rest assured that the funds will be used in the best possible way to repair damages and help the endangered residents of the Bare settlement, where on the evening of January 4, 2015, a landslide was activated that also claimed a human life - emphasized Berbić.
